I have been registered to a number of ptc sites in the past, all with high hopes of bringing me a decent online income and in fairness most of them did for a little while.
For those of you that don't know, ptc sites are sites that pay you to click on their advertisments, usually you get 1 cent a click. It can be quite time consuming but hey it's money for nothing isn' t it? Even better you get paid every time one of your referrals click a link so you want to have as many referrals as you can and even better instead of hunting down your own referrals you can purchase them or rent them through the site! It all sounds too good to be true doesn't it, unfortunately this scheme has the potential to be great but in most cases it is just not sustainable and most sites collapse leaving you high and dry and out of pocket.
I have been stung by this so here is my piece of advice, if you decide to join a ptc site then build things slowly and don't throw money at it. Click the links and only upgrade to premium once you have accumulated the money in your balance, it is only too tempting to pay out straight away and buy premium with the promise of so much more earnings but this is when you can start to lose money.
